TikTok, a video-based social media application, has been quickly gaining popularity throughout the world, especially among younger generations. The China-based application has been drawing much criticism due to security concerns with the application harvesting personal data. There has even been some talk of banning the application in the United States. Just this past week Wells Fargo banned all employees from having the application on their devices.
